Tru Wells is an author, entrepreneur, youth advocate, and Founder and President of The Biggest Foundation Inc.

His journey started long before the Foundation. After losing his brother, Ritchy Z. Volmar, in a jet ski incident at Bing’s Landing in Flagler County, Florida when Tru was only 14, he had to learn how to carry grief while still figuring out who he wanted to become.

Over the years, entrepreneurship became one of the ways Tru kept moving forward. He participated in entrepreneurship programs, explored French bulldog breeding, Amazon e commerce, branding, and other business ventures while searching for a bigger purpose.

That search eventually led him to create Adventures with Cash the Fluffy Frenchie, a cartoon style educational book series designed to help children learn through fun, relatable stories covering literacy, money, emotions, responsibility, safety, confidence, grief, leadership, entrepreneurship, and everyday life lessons.

At just 21 years old, Tru founded The Biggest Foundation Inc. with a mission to help children and families feel seen, supported, educated, and encouraged. Much of the Foundation’s growth has remained founder led, from creating educational resources and covering early expenses to building partnerships, traveling, personally delivering books, and expanding the mission into communities nationally and internationally.

Everything Tru continues to build carries the memory of Ritchy with it. His goal is to turn personal loss into something positive that can educate children, increase safety awareness, create opportunities, and leave an impact far beyond his own lifetime.

And the vision is still growing.

One of Tru’s next major goals is to attend college for animation and digital media so he can develop Adventures with Cash the Fluffy Frenchie into an educational animated series. He also hopes to help create more community based after school learning programs where children can receive literacy support, mentorship, financial education, leadership development, entrepreneurship exposure, creativity, and a safe place to grow And Call Home.

For Tru, this has never been only about selling or donating books.

It is about turning pain into purpose, creativity into opportunity, and personal experiences into something that may help the next child write a better story.

Every book we create, every child we reach, every safety lesson we share, and every community we serve gives me another opportunity to turn pain into purpose. Where you start does not have to be where your story ends. Sometimes your hardest chapter becomes the reason you help somebody else write a better one.”
